Job Description

Health Program Officer II, SG-15
a. Perform secretariat functions and provide technical support in the implementation of the Active Safety Monitoring and Management (aDSM) program and its coordinating committees;
b. Implement the annual work and financial plan (WFP) of the Program Implementation and Monitoring Unit (PIMU);
c. Draft routine correspondences, communications, reports, issuances and memoranda with regard to pharmaceutical access and management;
d. Coordinate and follow up submission of utilization and inventory reports of DOH Medicines from all Public Health Pharmacists;
e. Assist in the conduct of Program Updates and Implementation Review (PIR) of PD Regional Programs;
f. Provide Technical support to DOH CHDs PD Coordinators or the NDPCOs on the status of PD Regional indicators;
g. Consolidate reports on the PD Regional sub-allotment through Financial Disbursement Utilization;
h. Provide assistance in the development of Drug Shortages monitoring activities;
i. Monitor Pharmaceutical Division programs in Regional Office and/or conduct field works as the need arises;
j. Provide technical assistance to the Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Management Unit in its development of policies, monitoring medicines utilization; and,
k. Perform such other functions assigned by the Division Chief and Unit head.

8. IPCR Rating equivalent to one rating period (applicable to permanent government employees only)
