Position Description:

1. Conducts research and assists in the preparation of technical briefers, studies and position papers;
2. Coordinates with concerned offices of the government and the private sector in the preparation of position papers;
3. Attends and assists the technical staff during public/consultative hearings, technical working groups (TWGs), plenary sessions and bicameral conference;
4. Renders assistance in the preparation of briefers and reports for the public hearings and bicameral meetings;
5. Assists in the drafting of substitute bills and in the preparation of committee reports;
6. Liaises with other committees and offices from the government or private sector;
7. Liaises with other committees in the Senate and House of Representatives regarding copy of transcripts, reports, bills, resolutions and other official documents;
8. Monitors and submits plenary session spot report on all primary and secondary bills referred to the Senate Committee on Ways and Means;
9. Performs administrative support functions such as filing, recording, computer work, receiving guests, etc.;
10. Verifies schedules and agendas for the public hearings;
11. Invites and confirms attendance of resource persons and other stakeholders for public hearings on bills referred to the Senate Ways and Means Committee;
12. Photocopies and collates position papers, bills, resolutions, EOs, PDs, RAs, and other official documents;
13. Performs other functions which may be assigned by the head of office from time to time.

5. Photocopy of Certificate of training/seminar attended
6. Certificate of Employment/Service Record (for non-Senate Personnel)
7. Photocopy of Performance Evaluation/Rating Report for the last rating period
